Trigger shortcuts in different programs with one keystroke

I have a program called vMix that i use for beaming content on a screen (and corresponding audio track on the sound system) and i have a program called Lumidesk that i use for lighting. Both programs support shortcuts themselves.

I want to make sure that a custom lighting sequence from Lumidesk starts and stays in perfect sync with a video on the beamer, so i want to be able to press one key to simultaneously trigger the video content in vMix and the Lumidesk scene.

So something like when i press '1', the assigned shortcuts from both programs are triggered at exactly the same time (or with minimal latency).
