script crashing sometimes after changing run at startup method

I have a script which has some hotkeys using bat commands and some auto replace that I want to always run on the computer so I used to store it at "startup" folder and it worked fine but than I added a hotkey function that needed admin privileges(I checked the commands in cmd and it worked fine with admin privileges)
so I changed the startup method to use the task scheduler to run autohotkey.exe with the argument being the path to the script.
it works fine and the hotkey works but since I changed it it started crashing randomly with no pattern that I can see and then I have to restart manually
did anyone encounter this problem or have any idea what is causing this?
