Hello,
FrameShot is a Tool to take a Screenshot for a specified area. You can the image print/copy/put on clipboard.

It´s realy easy to use:
To start press LControl + RControl, then draw a frame while hold LButton. When you release LButton, a GUI will open with the specified image. Now click on clipboard/save/print/close.

Try it ;)

The script is in the german area. Here is the Thread.
Dont forget to download the Files (icons,...).

Hope you have a use for it 8-)

Thanks for reply and sorry for the bad description.

1.) Donload FrameShot.zip and unzip it
2.) Load FrameShot.ahk (now you should see the trayicon)
3.) Press LControl and RControl to start it (now you should see a crosshair at your mouse-position)
4.) Press left mousbutton and hold it (now you should see a transparent overlay on the complete screen)
5.) Move the mouse (now you should see a "clear" frame in the overlay ...that is the frame for the screenshot ...sorry frameshot ;) )
6.) Relaise the left mousebutton (now, a gui will open with a preview from the marked area)
...press on the icons:
first (left) = put the image in clipboard
second = save the image
third = print the image
fourth = close the gui

to exit the script, right click on the tray-icon and press on exit.

Any way to make this a function to use in other scripts and just pass it coordinates?
You know something like

FrameShot(X,Y,Width, Height, [SaveToDisk, ClipBoard])

Return to “Scripts and Functions (v1)”
