Quite simply, it turns your desktop icons into a clock. Make sure to turn off align to grid and autosort first. Before running, make sure to choose the correct icon size (line 6).

Re: DeskClock - Animated desktop icons!
What happens when the handle changes from one parent to another, like Progman to WorkerW? A common issue i had generally with desktop manipulation is when it switches parents and (if lucky) script stops working or (the usual thing that happens)... lets just say i need to restart explorer or even re-log at times. xD
Just curious, would try it but dont really want my icons that i sorted go GAGA. xD

What I meant is that win 10 64 pro in my instance is rather finicky with the handle. It boots with Progman as front but can change to WorkerW by a different application or by going into taskview. Usually, once its taken over by WorkerW, it stays until reboot or Explorer.exe restart. The issues I get is changing stuff to progman and when the handle changes, the desktop doesnt play along. A simple test is to boot pc without any apps that change anything to the desktop and have a static wallpaper and apply transparency to icons. Going into taskview after to change handler makes the desktop misbehave. Usually the blank black desktop background and similar stuff.

Sorry it was just response to you last sentence.
I guess maybe the easiest solution is to set a timer and constantly check for the desktop owner?
