Cannot delete nonexistent files in File List

Please refer to my post https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=49746. There doesn't appear to be a way to delete files which do not exist from the File menu. The kluge that I outlined works but I think the list of dead files is a bug that could be addressed fairly easily.

Oh, oh. I realize this is an AHK forum and I am referring to the Scite4ahk editor. Still, you folks have some influence with Scite so maybe you can put in a word.

What if you create a file by the same name in the same path?
Then it will have something to delete

Makes no difference. There is no "delete" option on the menu.
