Been trying for hours now to get screenshot to work and not getting anywhere. I'm trying to just follow the example from:
https://www.macrocreator.com/docs/Faq.html#can-i-take-screenshots-during-playback
I think step 1 is my problem. It says:
Go to Functions and type any name for the OutputVar and type Screenshot in the Function Name.
I type in SS in OutputVar and 'Screenshot' does not show up on the drop down list of function names. Do I need to install something to get the Screenshot function? Don't remember what the conditions where, but at one point I got a messagebox that said I needed to install AutoHotkey. I'd been using PMC without it and it was working fine.
If I just ignore the fact that Screenshot is not in the list of functions and type it anyway it appears that nothing happens when I run the macro. There is no file created and nothing happens on the screen (except that the PMC window minimizes to the task bar).
The text of my Screenshot.PMC shows this in Notepad++:
[PMC Globals]|None||
[PMC Code v5.4.1]|+F1||1|Window,2,Fast,0,1,Input,-1,-1,1|1|Macro1
Context=None|
Groups=Start:1
1|Screenshot|_null := "C:\Test.png"1001508070|1|0|Function|||||1|
Any help appreciated.
I am running Win 10 with v5.4.1 of PMC.
