All programs I wrote before did not run

I downloaded, extracted and copied the file in the unzipped folder into the old autohotkey folder. However it does not work. All programs I wrote in AutoHotkey before did not run

If you are saying that you replaced your "old" AHK v1.1 version with a v2 alpha version... then yes, there are a lot of breaking (and other) changes (compare https://www.autohotkey.com/v2/v2-changes.htm) - you just can't replace it and expect your old scripts to run.

If I misunderstood the problem, please elaborate.
