AHK's original tutorial

16 Feb 2017, 16:46

for a while i tried finding any link to the old tutorial (before my rewrite) but could never find one. So I decided to waybackmachine it and steal it.
here it is in most of its glory (top buttons+search+logo are dead, as expected):
https://a.pomf.space/zxptfzyklhdx.html (pretty neat site. there's a few simple HTML pastebin/hosts which require no account)
rawr. fear me.

https://autohotkey.com/docs_1.0/Tutorial.htm

As you may guess, the entire 1.0 docs are there. I think they've been there since I uploaded the 1.1 docs (and before that they were at /docs/).

You seem to leave out Loops, If/Else and Labels. Is there a specific reason for that.

this was /the original/ tutorial. for ahk 1.0. Those (well, if/else) were not covered.
though, the new one doesn't cover them either :P I did think about adding if/else a while ago but I'm done writing stuff for it.
