Re-configuring Bluetooth Button

Hi folks,

I'm trying to reconfigure the play/pause button of my bluetooth headphones to press the space bar. The headphone volume up/down buttons can change the computer volume so I know that the computer can read and interpret the signals being sent.

Initially I tried using the "key history and script info" panel to see if I could find anything about the button but it seems like the button isn't detectable.

Then I tried using AHKHID Example 1 to find my connected devices. Here is a snapshot of what that found. I then used Example 2 to "add" and then "call" all of the UsagePage/Usage pairs I found ( 65280,1 / 65280,2 / 12,1 / 1,12 ) and pressed my bluetooth buttons and received no feedback. If I "add" and then "call" the mouse ( 1,2 ) or keyboard ( 1,6 ) pairs I am flooded with data so I'm fairly sure I'm using the Example 2 tool right.

Any thoughts on where to go from here?
