Perhaps this is something that could be cloned to the ahkscript repo so various people can maintain and update it without the need to rely on one person accepting pull request and updates (just in case there are new commands and functions added to ahk)

As you may or may now know, AutoHotkey syntax highlighting no longer works on GH as it seems it now uses a different method and requires TextMate and Sublime Text grammars:
https://github.com/github/linguist/issues/1898

As I don't know SublimeText so I can't tell how up-to-date these two "grammars" are:

https://github.com/robertcollier4/AutoH ... tmLanguage

https://github.com/aviaryan/Sublime4Aut ... tmLanguage

and here is one for Atom (which doesn't work with lightroom for some reason)
https://github.com/nshakin/language-aut ... otkey.cson

One thing is for sure, I don't like the colours of the lightroom examples - purple coloured commands and labels? :silent: perhaps you can define colours in a grammar, fingers crossed

This custom .tmLanguage file I made is quite updated. It's v1.1/v2 hybrid though - e.g.: will detect "foo" and 'foo' as strings and `"/`' as escape sequences, etc...

Syntax highlighting is now working on GitHub again, using robertcollier4's highlighter. See: https://github.com/github/linguist/issues/1898
