"Catch" the close button on a explorer window and minimize only that explorer window

For my sister who is an invalid i was wondering if there is a script which can transform a click on a 'close' explorer window minimizes it to the taskbar. For example: Whatsapp for PC: if it's closed the app will close it all together, while i want it to close it to the minize to the taskbar or / and to the systemtray (prefer both at the same time)
