Re: A Github organisation for ahkscript
I've been a bit inactive lately and just saw that I can no longer create repositories for the AHKScript GitHub org. I was trying to transfer this repository https://github.com/G33kDude/VistaAudio to be an official mirror of Lexikos' VA library (since nobody else, including Lex, seems to be hosting/mirroring the most recent version with documentation), but it won't even let me request to have it transferred . Any chance someone could help me out here?joedf wrote:I have stopped giving repo access since before the attack on this forum. I would say the main purpose for new users to have an AHK badge on the user profile pages.
I originally created this org for things like aspdm or phpbb mods. I welcome other misc things related to AHK. It morph into something a little weird, but It can be "tamed".
I am more or less the "moderator".
Re: A Github organisation for ahkscript
My internet is a little off here... I will double check your access when I get tonight. Don't worry, we'll get it up.
I think it should work now. try it again. let me know

Re: A Github organisation for ahkscript
Might not be your net that's the problem, GitHub is experiencing a major service outage right now.

Edit: Looks like the transfer went through (Thanks!), but I no longer have access to edit the repository. That's fine, as long as someone can update the repo's URL to point at https://ahkscript.github.io/VistaAudio/ instead of https://g33kdude.githubio/VistaAudio

Re: A Github organisation for ahkscript
I guess github did have some outage. Anyhow, I have given you admin access to the VistaAudio repo.

Policy for adding new members to github-organization?
Just a short question: Is there a policy for adding people to the AutoHotkey github organization?
Background: The last few people added to github organization haven't been active neither on the AutoHotkey-forum before (less then 5 posts)nor did they contribute anything of relevance with their forum posts nor do they have any AutoHotkey-relevant repositories on their own github-accounts. Does it make sense to add people without any visible AutoHotkey-reputation to the AutoHotkey github organization - just because they ask for membership?

I have stopped giving repo access, they just get the badge. :/

Re: A Github organisation for ahkscript
If the initial membership is limited to the badge, I'm fine. I was just a little irritated, by having new members with no visible AHK experience.
It's a thin line between being too liberate and scaring off newly interested people

Yeah I know I don't have forking or repo access either.
Recommends AHK Studio
