SWTOR looping script
SWTOR looping script
Hi! I was just asking if someone could tell me whether using the looping scripts in SWTOR is a bannable offence? Has someone already used it? I kinda want to use looping script to give companions gifts and AFK for a while.

According to the SWTOR EULA using any form of macro or botting software is a violation of the EULA. If you get caught you're account may very well be toast. With that in mind, you will be skating on the thin edge. Although I'm pretty sure there are people out there running macros in that game. The choice is yours but I very much doubt that anyone here will help you build a potentially bannable macro. I certainly wouldn't want to take the blame for getting you banned so it's really up to you how you proceed from here.
under the EULA general guidelines you will find this..."you may not Use or distribute “auto” software programs, “macro” software programs or other “cheat utility” software program or applications."
Under Mod Hack and Cheat Prohibitions you will find this... "you may not You may not use macros, add-ons or other stored rapid keystrokes, "dupes," "cheats" or other patterns of play that facilitate acquisition of items, currency, objects, character attributes, rank or status at an accelerated rate."
They say they're trying to keep the game fair and balanced so take it for what it's worth.

A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history – with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.

Botting is a bannable offense in nearly every online game in existence and there is ZERO legalities on your side. They can ban any player, for any reason, at any time. You live in their sandbox and they are the kings of the playground, period.Plagues wrote:Hi! Now that you understand the risks, should you wish to continue there is a pretty low risk of being banned. Especially in this game as I have used it before. It was a couple years ago now so things may have changed. Good luck.
