How can I print with pre-defined setting?

I've got 3 printers at home.
When I go to print, there must be about 20 different choices for printers - like fax and other things

Is there a way to print with specific settings?
Like I might want high quality and double sided and 4 per page.
To make these choices takes many clicks and a minute of time.

Just wondering if there was a way to just automate all of these things?
The problem is different apps have different dialogues.
But... even if I could do just for one app like Google Chrome (and Firefox) that would be great for me.

One of the problems is that EVERY time, there is a waiting delay while the printer list populates and the PC yet again rediscovers what printers it has.
