Just giving a feedback, the previous forum UI was so much nicer!
Switch back please!

This dark theme is causing me eye strain. I totally get it that some might think it's cool, but it's very hard to make out words, that are dark, on a dark background. Like I understand if the user can change the settings themselves, but don't understand it as a default setting.

And I also wonder if it's appropriate to use the dark theme for a forum like this one. Usually the only forums with dark themes that I run across are straight up black hat hacker sites.

That makes no sense at all. Dark themes are becoming more and more popular. The only issue I've found is code blocks being difficult to read. But I used one of the dark themes on this site forever.

Now this looks like a forum for gamers!

I prefer the old theme!

The current theme is only being used since there were problems with the others. There are kind people spending their free time looking into the issue.

Cheers.

Hmmm... grey text on a grey background. Not helpful to these tired old eyes. :(

I totally dislike this dark theme!
Please add an option to switch between themes.

You can temporary use the Chrome extension Resource Override to replace the theme.

Sorry to say, but this dark theme makes the board unusable for me. Even writing this note is a struggle. I can't find anyway to change the theme but a different one is desperately needed. Thanks.

Yes so the AHK theme (based on simplicity steel blue) needs to be updated...
I have imported the new version and started a branch here. Our changes will need to be reapplied.

@tmplinshi, great find indeed. Thank you. My eyes thank you too :D
That new default forum theme is toxic.
@swagfag, I like that theme you shared also.

Observations:

Google Chrome 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Current theme

Scrolling through a long thread is like trying to stir a pot of thick mud with a plastic spoon. Every page up/down request or mouse scroll request takes forever to respond. No problems with Firefox or Internet Explorer.
