Ignoring a # key in a script

13 Jul 2018, 09:11

I am trying to get AutoHotkey to paste a text string which includes an Email distribution list that includes a # symbol.

#n:: SendInput, Text string here. Text string continues with email distribution "#DistributionList@email.org" end text string here.

How can I get it to included the "#" symbol in this script without recognizing it as anything other than free text? AutoHotKey recognizes the # symbol as a command the way I have it.
